Job Summary:
As a Laravel Backend Developer at Cyclux, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, efficient, and scalable backend solutions using PHP, Laravel framework, and WordPress. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to create seamless integrations, optimize application performance, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend functionalities using PHP, Laravel, and WordPress to meet project requirements.
- Design, implement, and manage APIs for seamless integration with frontend components and third-party services.
- Create and optimize database schemas and queries for improved performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members to ensure effective implementation of features.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure smooth application functionality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements:
- Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory but beneficial):
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of server management and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a bonus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
